Cold Brew

If you're a coffee lover, you've probably heard of cold brew. This smooth, refreshing, and naturally sweeter coffee is a game-changer, especially for those who prefer a less acidic and more caffeinated pick-me-up.
The key to perfect cold brew is the grind. You want it coarse, like sea salt. A fine grind makes it too bitter. With the Thermomix, we can mill whole coffee beans in just seconds! Say goodbye to expensive coffee runs and hello to delicious, homemade cold brew.

Why Cold Brew?

Cold brew isn't just another way to drink coffee; it offers several unique benefits:

Lower Acidity – Cold brew has up to 70% less acidity than hot-brewed coffee, making it gentler on your stomach.
Naturally Sweeter – The slow extraction process reduces bitterness, giving you a naturally smooth and slightly sweet flavour.
Higher in Caffeine – Since it's brewed with water over a long period of time, cold brew packs an energizing punch.
•  Lasts Longer – Brew once and enjoy for up to a week! Cold brew stays fresh in the fridge, ready whenever you need a coffee fix.

Super cost-effective – just 50c per serve instead of $7 at a café!

3. Let it steep: Cover and place in the fridge for 12–24 hours to extract the rich flavours.

4. Strain the coffee: Use a fine-mesh sieve, coffee filter, or nut milk bag to strain out the coffee grounds.

5. Store & Serve: Transfer the cold brew to a clean jar or bottle and keep it refrigerated for up to one week. Serve over ice and enjoy as is, or mix with milk and sweetener of choice.
